Alexandra Harker led the planting design for the new UCSF Center for Vision Neuroscience in Mission Bay, including flow-through planting and swale planting as part of the site’s stormwater management strategy. The palette features many California native plants, including Coffeeberry (Rhamnus californica), Tufted Hairgrass (Deschampsia cespitosa), and Deer Grass (Muhlenbergia rigens).
